Refund Policy

Introduction

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are handled for purchases of Respona licenses and related Account Services. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

What you are buying

Respona is sold primarily as a one-time prepaid purchase of a fixed-term software license for Licensed Software that runs on your own servers, including access to Account Services for licensing, receipts, and downloads.

By default: (a) the license is not perpetual; (b) it does not auto-renew; (c) continuing after the term ends requires a new license.

Payment processor

When configured, online payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Respona does not store full payment card numbers.

When you may request a refund

Except where required by law:

• (a) Before a license key is generated, you may request a refund for the related purchase.
• (b) After a license key is generated, the related purchase is non-refundable; digital license fulfillment has begun.

Important: Generating a license key permanently closes refund eligibility for that order. If you may need a refund, request it before generating the key.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on the payment provider and your bank (typically several business days).

What a refund covers

An issued refund covers amounts charged for that order (including applicable taxes). Refunds do not cover your deployment costs, third-party infrastructure fees, or damages beyond the purchase price.

Effect on licenses and downloads

If an order is refunded, related license rights, keys, and download access may be revoked. You must stop using features that require a paid entitlement.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you open a chargeback, related Account Services may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed. Please contact us first.

Exceptions required by law

This policy does not limit mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived under applicable law.
